Everton are close to the permanent signing of former West Ham transfer target André Gomes after agreeing a fee of £22m plus £3m of add-ons for the Barcelona midfielder.
Gomes enjoyed a successful loan with the Toffees last season, where regular first-team football was on offer and they supported him through a difficult time.
