Exclusive: Haller wants to join the Irons

Sebastien Haller is keen to join the Hammers and the club are deeply involved in negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt over the terms of payment.

English-speaking Haller has made up his mind that a move to the Premier League is the next stage of his career and a highly placed source inside the club have told ClaretandHugh they consider the chances now better than 50/50.

We were told by e mail: “The player really wants to come to West Ham – he has made that clear to us so we have to believe this is now possible.”

Hammering out a deal with the German outfit may be a little more problematical as we understand Frankfurt  are looking for closer to £42 million for the player plus various add ons which would include sell on percentages.

The Irons have no problems meeting the player’s personal terms and are hoping to know more from Frankfurt over the next 24 to 48 hours.”
