FA Cup D-Day for two Irons

David Moyes will have a final chance to address the “stay or return” issues surrounding Reece Burke and Josh Cullen at the London Stadium tomorrow evening.

Both are set to be launched into the FA Cup replay against Shrewsbury Town with the draw in Shropshire perhaps proving a blessing in disguise.

For it gives the manager another opportunity to assess the pair before making a decision on whether they should remain until the end of the season or be sent back to Bolton to continue their loan spells.

With few other opportunities seemingly apparent the timing of the game is right for Reece Oxford to make his first appearance before the  manager after sustaining a foot injury on the training pitch before the first game.

Sam Byram is also fit to return after completing 60 minutes of the tough encounter between the Under 23s and Leicester’s last week.
