The elimination of Manchester United by Liverpool 3-1 on aggregate in the Europa League tonight has meant West Ham will almost certainly play their FA Cup quarter-final on Wednesday evening on 6th April at the Boleyn Ground.

And that will see the Hammers will play three games in a row within eight days at fortress Boleyn where we have not lost a game at Upton Park since August last year when Bournemouth came out the 4-3 winners.

West Ham will play the London derby of Crystal Palace at home on Saturday 2nd April and  that will now be quickly followed by FA cup replay against the Red Devils , just three days later we play Arsenal at home with a lunch-time kick off where we hope to do the double over our London rivals.

Manchester United will be offered a full allocation of 6,000 taking up the whole of the Sir Trevor Brooking stand. Ticket prices will be priced more than previous rounds of £20 but less than the £45 charged at Old Trafford last weekend.

There are very few dates available to play the FA Cup replay with an international break and busy fixture schedule until the end of the season. The club confirmed they would release the date after the fate of the Europa League game was known while Chairman’s son Jack Sullivan also confirmed the replay would be set on the 6th April if Manchester United failed to make it through to the Europa League quarter finals.

An official confirmation is expected by West Ham and Manchester United soon.
