Albian Ajeti has escaped any action from the Football Association after fears arose he could face a three match ban at their behest.

The striker was caught up in an incident with Everton’s Mason Holgate towards the end of Saturday’s game but VAR decreed no red card was involved in what appeared to be a brush of heads off the ball.

However, despite the reprieve there were fears inside the London Stadium among some insiders that the FA would reverse the decision.

They had until tomorrow night (Tues) but explained to CandH that nothing will be done following the VAR decision.

Ajeti had been more lively that in any previous appearance for the Hammers and appeared to show that he could perhaps be in the frame for future appearances having looked like a man on a mission to prove points to the new manager.

The Switzerland international will be hoping he showed enough to put himself in the frame for an appearance against Leicester City on Wednesday night.
