If  the Hammer of the year vote was held this week then Lukasz Fabianski would be the runaway winner with nearly sixty percent of the vote.

With over 2,000 readers voting in the Claret and Hugh poll,  1,214 out of 2,206 supporters put their x in the Polish keepers box.  Declan Rice was the worthy runner up with over 31% of the poll with 637 votes from over two thousand. Club record signing Felipe Anderson was a very long way behind with 3.41% of the vote (69 votes) while Robert Snodgrass was the only other player to poll over 1% of the vote with 25 votes.  Last year’s Hammer of the year Marko Arnautovic got just 5 votes from over 2,000 giving him just 0.25% of the poll.

The Hammers signed Swansea goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski for £7m last June as the Welsh side suffered relegation. The Poland international moved to London Stadium on a three-year contract after previously moving to Wales from Arsenal in 2014.
