Fans say Valencia can leave

An overwhelming majority of Hammers supporters say Enner Valencia can leave the club this summer. In contrast to our two previous polls where 80% of fans said they want James Tomkins and Pedro Obiang to stay, over 80% of Irons have no problem with Valencia leaving the club.

The Ecuador striker joined West Ham in July 2014  for £12m million on a five year deal said to worth around £38,000 per week. His transfer from Pachuca followed a great 2014 World Cup in which he scored three times.

The twenty six year old is now available to leave with West Ham looking to recoup their initial £12m outlay. With 1,457 supporters voting in our Claret and Hugh poll.  1,172 (80.44%) say he can leave, 222 (15.24%) want him to stay while 63 (4.32%) don’t know.

Today we complete our last poll in our player series of four and maybe the most controversial and possibly the closest.  We ask whether Diafra Sakho should stay or go.  Sakho has been plagued with injuries and personal problems over the last twelve months as well as an alleged training ground bust up with Slav but he also shows moments of brilliance and works hard for the team when he is fit and motivated.
