West Ham fans are cautiously optimistic that David Moyes and the boys will have a decent points haul over the”five games of Christmas.”

ClaretandHugh’s latest poll posed that question and with just over 1,000 votes in the one time deeply fearful fans are more optimistic given two fine performances at Manchester City and against Chelsea.

We go into action at the LS on Wednesday against Arsenal before meeting, Stoke City (away),  Newcastle (home), Bournemouth (away) and West Brom (home).

And the majority of those who have voted reckon nine points is the best expectation with 227 of them ticking that box (21 per cent of the vote).

A total of 152 (14.6 per cent ) believe 10 points are on the cards while 18.54 per cent (193) go for 8 and 114 (10.95 pc) favour seven per cent

Around 10 per believe 12-15 points are possible and same sort of percentage see them collecting six or less.
