A new report claims Galatasaray have reached an agreement with the Hammers over the transfer of Sofiane Feghouli according to beIN Sport Turkey.

The Turkish team are said to have struck a €4.5 million (£4m) deal with the Hammers for their player but the Istanbul outfit are said to yet agree personal terms with the Algerian winger.

Galatasaray sporting director Cenk Ergun is currently in London where he has reportedly had contact with West Ham. The 27-year-old joined West Ham from Valencia last summer on a free transfer but had a mixed season. Feghouli scored four goals and provided three assists in all competitions last season.

The Istanbul giants will compete in the Europa League this season after missing out on Champions League football after they finished fourth.

Feghouli previously said he wanted to stay at West Ham telling RMC Sport “I have two years of contract in West Ham and as I announced on the social networks, I see myself staying in West Ham, and I’m back on July 10th with the team. I will go on a quiet holiday and prepare for a great season. I am open to any discussion with the coach but there is not a problem I do not think I’ll go back as normal, but maybe the owner will tell me one day that I’ll have to leave, even if I do not think so. West Ham is an adventure to live in. I’m not the kind of person who wants to leave after a mixed season”

In a C&H poll in late May over 72% of supporters believed Sofiane Feghouli should remain a Hammer after the summer transfer window.
