Ferdinand brothers to be reunited at Boleyn

The Ferdinand brothers will be reunited on the Boleyn Ground football pitch one last time on 28th March. Anton Ferdinand has been the latest former Hammer to confirm he has accepted an invitation from Mark Noble to be part of his testimonial. He will join his brother Rio who was one of the first to accept a place in the West Ham All Stars XI.

Anton tweeted out “Honoured that I’ve been asked to play in @Noble16Mark testimonial what a player and a guy #MN16 can’t wait to step out at Upton Park again!!”

Danny Gabbidon has also confirmed his attendance on the 28th March posting out “Honoured to have been asked to play in @Noble16Mark testimonial on March 28th Worthy recognition for one of the best I’ve played with #MN16”

Ian Bishop has also agreed to join the celebrations  by saying “Thanks for the invite Nobes. Great to see that your loyalty is being rewarded. Wouldn’t miss it. Special club”

Ian, Anton and Danny join Joe Cole joins Jack Collison, Dean Ashton, Gary O’Neil, Jimmy Walker, Ravel Morrison, Carlton Cole, Rio Ferdinand and Trevor Sinclair who have all announced they will be taking part in Nobes’ special Easter day match. Paolo Di Canio is also thought to have been approached by Noble and has accepted while Carlos Tevez and Gianfranco Zola have been approached but have yet to confirm their availability.

On Friday a new twitter account called MN16 Testimonial @16MNOBLE on twitter “We are hoping to get tickets on sale next week, we will keep you up to date”
