West Ham fans have voted by a massive majority for those who are standing during games at The London Stadium to sit down.

ClaretandHugh ran a 24 hour poll in which we asked the question:

The issue of standing fans in the London Stadium rumbles on. Should those who are on their feet sit down or not in order to get the capacity up to 66k?

The result was never in doubt. Those who are standing are not only defying the club’s requests but the majority of fans who want the stadium at full capacity.

The final majority is the biggest ever recorded in a ClaretandHugh poll with a total of 1674 fans casting their votes over the day.

And the numbers casting a vote ensured it went past the 1,000  required to make if official with pollsters Mori.

Here is the final result:

A total of 1,335  (79.75) said sit down

303 said they should stand (18.1 pc)

2.15 pc (36) recorded a don’t know vote
