Finance guru Maguire praises Hammers coverage

Football finance guru Kieran Maguire has praised Claret and Hugh for their coverage of West Ham finances including the London Stadium losses.

Kieran was answering a question on his weekly Price of Football podcast on Monday from a West Ham fan called Dave about the valuation of the London Stadium who asked if it was true it is worth next to nothing – a story we broke along with many other details of the Hammers operations behind the scenes.

The football finance guru confirmed that there is a lot of truth in the story and went on to say he believed Dave had probably picked up the story from what he described as the “excellent website Claret and Hugh” adding that we do really forensic job of looking at what happens behind the scenes at West Ham.

Kieran added ‘West Ham have got such a fantastic deal on the stadium it is not worth anyone buying it”  “It is an absolute disaster from a taxpayers perspective”

Podcast co-host Kevin Hunterday said “That West Ham website you mention is another example of why club owners underestimate fans at their peril”
