Five years on and grateful to you all

Over the next few days ClaretandHugh will be celebrating its fifth anniversary and our biggest possible thanks go to all who have supported us since we started life as a small blog back in ’14 to now, when we have over 250k followers.

It’s been a great journey as we have travelled through the good and bad times with one unwavering mission – to bring you news and views of all that’s happening at any given time in our great club.

We are really grateful for all the support and comment we have received here and on the Facebook Group -even from those who can’t stand us.

It’s a huge pleasure to bring between 10 and 20 stories a days even to those who criticise and carp on the old “board lovers” platform.

Yep, we support them and every other area of the club as we have done all our lives..

We admit that at times we get it wrong – when that happens accept our apologies in advance.

We have always tried hard to make this a family friendly site, thus abuse and swearing is eliminated wherever we find it but our mission will always remain the same – to gather news for fans..

Thanks to the many thousands of you who have sent heart-warming messages.

Sometimes in this game encouragement is thin on the ground but we will never change – news is what we are about. For those who have worse than reservations about us, you are welcome here too.
