Former Hammer, Roger Johnson has rejoined the Addicks.
Charlton officially confirmed that experienced centre-back Roger Johnson has returned to the club by putting pen to paper on an 18-month contract today. The 32-year-old spent the latter part of last season in SE7, playing 14 games as Charlton enjoyed a strong second half of the campaign. After leaving Charlton in the summer, he signed a deal with FC Pune City in the Indian Super League, where he worked under former England international David Platt.
“I’m very pleased to welcome Roger back to The Valley,” said Interim Head Coach, Karel Fraeye on Charlton’s official website.  “He’s obviously a player who knows the club and, importantly, knows the league. He did the job last season, he brings a big voice on the pitch and he will bring us the experience we need.”
Roger appeared for West Ham six times on loan from Wolves from January 2014 to May 2014.
