Pablo Fornals insists West Ham have to go for the win against Manchester United this weekend.

The Hammers have a good record against the top six in recent seasons and have already taken a point off Spurs this season, while also playing superbly at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea; the Irons should have received a point in that game, but their last-minute equaliser was incorrectly ruled out by VAR.

The Irons were also excellent at Anfield, but lost 1-0, after Darwin Nunez scored the only goal with a superb header.

United have been in good form at Old Trafford and have only lost once there this season, going down 2-1 to Brighton on the opening day of the season.

But Fornals insists that he and his team-mates have to go into this weekend’s game with the expectation of victory.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Spaniard said: “We have to be the same as we were in Liverpool, we were very good in that game.

“Probably better in the second half than the first, but we challenged them and created chances.

“We’re going there to challenge Manchester United too. We did against Tottenham and got a draw, we did against Chelsea and should have got a draw, we’re going to try to beat everyone.”

Fornals has made 11 appearances for the Irons thus far this season and has scored once, against Aston Villa.
