Fornals struggle shows what’s happening at West Ham

Pablo Fornals is a very good example – if current victim – of what’s going on going on at this club.

Having arrived at around £25 million he finds himself on the bench and with plenty to prove right now as the team continues to show impressive form.

In fairness he has admitted he has much to learn about the Premier League in his adjustment period from La Liga but when else have the club been in a position where it can leave a player of this expense on the bench?

Fornals is clearly a skilled operator but thus far he has only been able to show himself off in a couple of odd games although what we saw against Newport County was impressive.

With the likes of Lanzini and Anderson available, he has a big job on his hands breaking through but given the faith shown in him by the manager when he does be ready for an explosion.

These really are exciting times at the club.
