Fornals value on the slide

Pablo Fornals’ transfer market value has slipped by around £2.5 million since joining West Ham.

The summer signing needs time of course, according to Manuel Pellegrini, to find his feet in the Premier League and unless he does soon no doubt his value will  fall further.

According to www. transfermarkt.com the midfielder signed from Villareal is now worth £22.5 million and whilst there were brief signs that he may be starting to find his feet when coming on against Sheffield United, his early days at the club have been  big disappointment.

The reality is that after 10 Premier League games and with a quarter of the season gone he has failed to supply a goal or assist with his only strike coming against Newport County in the Carabao Cup.

Whilst at Villareal, his price rose from almost £11m to the £25m and the club and Pellegrini will be looking for fast improvement from the 23 year old.
