THE CAT

The issues David Moyes is facing regarding the progression of West Ham as a club are very complex and require a genius touch with a good sprinkling of luck.

Some supporters either aren’t aware or don’t particularly care about the what goes on behind the scenes.

Progressing this club year on year and competing with the top teams whilst also competing in Europe, was always going to present its challenges.

Operating in these money-motivated shark-infested transfer windows, we have shown that whilst we are willing to spend the money on the right players, we will not recklessly endanger the very existence of this club.

That makes sense to me and should make sense to anyone that holds down a job and pays the bills in their household. Some of the comments that I have read regarding transfer speculation or our transfer activity have been either naive, clueless or both.

The loss to this club of Mark Noble hasn’t been mentioned too much, but I feel that it is potentially a massive loss and I hope that the presence of players like Ben Johnson, Conor Coventry and Flynn Downes is the beginning of a new West Ham heartbeat within this squad.
