Ginger Pele faces career dilemma
The 34-year-old centre-back is wanted at the Amex Stadium to bolster his defence with solid Premier League experience during the winter window.
The Ginger Pele has less than six months left on his current Hammers deal and he is yet to open talks to agree fresh terms to keep him at the club for a seventh straight season. He would prefer to get a further extension to finish his playing career at West Ham but is realistic his options may be limited so could consider finishing his career somewhere else if a suitable offer came in.
David Moyes has shown recent faith in the Welsh defender who has made just nine appearances all season. Four of those appearances came in the last five weeks of last year and he was part of the team who beat Huddersfield 4-1 last week.
