Olivier Giroud is set for the Arsenal exit door this summer, according to reports in the L’Equipe newspaper in France.

The Arsenal striker scored 16 goals in all competitions last season despite only eleven Premier League starts. The report says Giroud is not a part of Arsene Wenger’s plans next season.

The 30-year-old signed a new deal with the Gunners in January but he was unhappy with his playing time in the second half of the campaign and recently admitted he wouldn’t settle for another bit-part role next season.

‘I will not settle for limited playing time (next season) like I have this season,’ said Giroud.

According to L’Equipe, Giroud has been told he is free to leave the club this summer.

West Ham, Lyon and Marseille are all keen on Giroud and Arsenal value the striker at around £20m.

Arsenal are planning to make a £50m bid for former West Ham target Alexandre Lacazette.
