Andy Carroll is AGAIN at the centre of all the wrong headlines after being sent home from training by manager David Moyes.

Having been snubbed as a sub against Manchester City the striker showed his frustration by stomping away from the dug out during the game.

Today he was at an early meeting with Moyes and after refusing to apologise for his behaviour was sent home.

ClaretandHugh’s facebook followers have responded to the news here:

O As much as I don’t agree with him taking a strop and storming off at all, you have to feel his frustration. What does he have to do to get on when were getting hammered. He scored the previous week, a crucial goal at that, and still not enough for Moyes

O Sadly, we are a club in meltdown !!

O We need everyone together not bitching
 Going from bad to worse.
It’s clear Carroll will be going in the summer, but who’s going to take a chance on him? We’ll be lucky if we get between £5-8 million for him. I’m a massive fan –   the lad could have given up long ago with all his injuries.
Really do think now that the players will throw the towel in and won’t play for Moyes because I think he’s lost the players trust. Hope I’m wrong.
O His injury record is appalling and he should have stayed and supported his team mates but that game was crying out for him to come and hold the ball up.
