Gold ‘copter hop to see history changed

David Gold is making the 50 minute hop by ‘copter to merseyside today believing that half a century of history can be changed.

DG will fly from his Surrey home to Liverpool believing that all things are possible in this great Hammers season.

He told ClaretandHugh “Normally I go up there expecting very little but given our form this season I have to be hopeful. If we ever had a chance of turning history on it’s head it’s now.

“This is always a game to relish and we are ready for it. Kouyate is back and our options look good. I’m hopeful
