David Gold is again promoting the London Stadium and pushing for a 60,000 plus capacity.

It’s the first time the co chairman has involved himself in the debate since the hysterical discussion took place when the standing issue was at its height.

But with the stadium issues being solved daily DG obviously feels at his ease returning to the subject of the club’s ambitious programme.

Twitter follower Kevin Courtney had disagreed with the club’s plan on Twitter declaring:

“and wants 9,000 more there to clog everywhere up even more.”

Gold immediately responded declaring: “Kevin I would like to have a 66,000 seater stadium to show we are the biggest and best supported club in London. dg

And he then added: “The vast majority of major football trophies are won by big clubs with a big fan base and big stadiums. Of course there are exceptions. dg”
