Good news for Haller

Manu Lanzini looks a definite starter this weekend after appearing as a sub following injury during the game against Bournemouth…and that’s good news for Seb Haller.

Over the last two or three games we have seen the big Frenchman ploughing a lonely role up front but doing it brilliantly.

However, the expected start from Manu will allow us to see sides of the striker’s  game that have been missing as the team’s play maker gets that much closer to him up front.

Starting on the left Manu floats inside during games allowing Haller a little less company from opposition defenders and freeing him up for a better sight of goal.

Haller has been brilliant leading the line but there is no question the inclusion of Lanzini allows us to see far more of his all round game which will always see him picking up others in space with great assists.

Elsewhere, the team is likely to remain unchanged and Jack Wilshere wil be checked ahead of the game following a knock received at Bournemouth.

Likely line up: Roberto; Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Rice, Noble, Yarmolenko, Lanzini, Anderson, Haller.
