Dangerman Traore played a role in the Wolves goal

And breathe!

Wolves completed a treble over the three relegation teams  – ourselves, Bournemouth and local rivals Villa – in Birmingham at lunchtime.

A 62nd minute strike from one time David Moyes West ham target Leander Dendoncker ensured the Hammers stayed clear of the bottom three as they approach their next game against Chelsea on Wedneaday night.

Once again Adam Traore – on as a second half sub – was involved in the vital goal just as he had been in the two that beat the Irons and the one which saw off Bournemouth.

Villa had their chances but most of the time were left wishing the goal was a couple of feet higher with one or two chances being well spurned.

Tomorrow sees Watford – one point above us and a goal better off on difference – at home to Saints whilst in the meantime Villa have now played a game more than us and are five worse than us on goal difference.
