James Tomkins is expected to be fit for the FA Cuo clash this weekend while Andy Carroll is reported to be very close to full fitness.
Speakig to the official site Stijn Vandenbroucke, Head of Medical and Sports Science, reported: “James Tomkins picked up a little groin injury at Newcastle United, but he has now returned to full training and should be available for this Saturday’s FA Cup fourth round tie at Liverpool.
Michail Antonio was one of a few players who picked up knocks in the Manchester City game, but all of them will be recovered in time to play at Liverpool. Michail injured his wrist and will wear some protection in the next few games.

Andy Carroll is very close to full fitness. He will be training with the squad from the beginning of next week.

Manuel Lanzini and Diafra Sakho have started working on the pitch individually and are coming into the final stages of their rehabilitation. We are still on target to recover them by the middle of February.

We have five days remaining of the Transfer Window and we will have to see what happens with regard to any new players coming in, which will necessitate a medical taking place at Spire Roding Hospital.”
