West Ham dominated the first half but were again finding little in front of goal.

Despite eight attempts in the first 35 minutes the closest they came was when Danny Ings on debut saw a shot deflected against the post and failed with a header in front of goal.

Moyes again decided to stick with his tried – and so far failed policy of playing one up – like every other team in the relegation zone.

Ings was put on for the first hammers chance after two minutes but failed to control a through bal and it ran instead into the keepers arms.

The manager had made four changes but the most effective move appeared again to give Soucek a forward running role where he looked effective and menacing,

Benrahama was attempting to make things happen on the left and saw one near post shot comfortably saved whilst Forest managed little than one shot which Fabianski turned over the top.
