West Ham will sell Sebastian Haller next summer with the striker set for a return to Germany.
ClaretandHugh has learned that, despite his lack of form. there has been interest from three or four Bundedsliga outfits over the last few weeks.
The 26 year old, however, despite three offers of loan moves back to Germany, is disinterested in making a return until the summer when the Hammers are set to get a £25 million fee – thus losing around £12 million on what they paid for him from Eintracht Frankfurt.
There remains widespread admiration for Haller in Germany where there is an acceptance that the arrival of David Moyes as manager will not have suited his game.
Our sources claim the interest in the player is very real but that a January loan move would be of no interest to either Haller or West Ham and that a permanent deal in the summer is very much on the cards given the conversations already held between the Hammers and the German outfits.
