Barely a day passes without a new accolade being handed out to Sebastian Haller.

The Hammers striker has made an extraordinary impact on the Premier League in his opening games and this week has rocketed into the Daily Mai’s new Power Rankings for the first time this season.

The Sportsmail list what they consider the top 10 hottest players in the Premier League each week and Haller has become a new entry at No 8 – ahead of Mo Salah and Leicester City’s James Maddison.

In their comment on the striker the Mail says:  ‘Manuel Pellegrini labelled the powerful Frenchman as a ‘complete player’ after he scored in West Ham’s 2-0 stroll to victory over Norwich on Saturday.

Haller backed up his brace against Watford by adding another to his tally and looks perfectly suited to life in the Premier League.

There were a few raised-eyebrows when the Hammers made the 25-year-old their record signing for £45million from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer but if he keep scoring at this rate, the fee will seem like pocket change.

He’s also only the fourth player to score three in his first three for the club, following in the footsteps of Trevor Sinclair, Ian Wright and Demba Ba.”

Above Seb in the Mail’s list are:

7th: Jamie Vardy

6th: Kevin de Bruyne

5th: Trent Alexander-Arnold

4th: Teemu Pukki

3rd: Sergio Aguero

2nd: Sadio Mane

1st: Raheem Sterling
