Sebastien Haller is unlikely to return to action on Wednesday against Chelsea as he struggles to recover from a hip injury.

David Moyes has admitted he lost the striker in training on Wednesday 17th just three before football resumed for West Ham

The Gaffer explained the striker got nudged and twisted his hip and hasn’t been able to train since.

Until he resumes full training it is difficult to put a date on his return but a full week of training this coming without issues week could put him in contention for a return against Newcastle United on 5th July but it is too early to say.

Haller has suffered very little injury problems throughout his career only missing games in Germany due to dental surgery and abdominal pain.

He scored in both practice games against QPR and Crystal Palace so his loss has come as a bitter disappointment for David Moyes with inexperienced forwards on his bench.
