Leading Turkish News Agency Hurriyet are today reporting that the Hammers have accepted a €5m bid from Galatasaray for Sofiane Feghouli.

However they add that although the Algerian is close to agreeing personal terms his West Ham signing on fee is holding up his move to Turkey.

Hurriyet claim the Hammers agreed a €4.5m signing on fee with the player when he joined the Premier League side last summer. It was agreed he would receive this over three seasons, and the Hammers have already made first €1.5m payment.

However, the winger now wants the remaining €3m before he leaves West Ham, which has stalled his move. Feghouli thinks West Ham owe him the signing on fee, but the London club will not back down to his demands.

The 27-year old’s agent has asked Galatasaray if they would pay this, but the Turkish club have refused because they are already prepared to pay €5m to land the player.
