Harrison Ashby looks nailed on to leave West Ham in January.

A new report from The West Ham Way, via Ex WHU Employee, reports that the right-back is now set to go in January.

We reported the same several weeks ago when revealing the right back is  in the last year of his contract and that his agent also represents Newcastle boss Eddie Howe.

We have reported that Newcastle and they made an attempt to sign him in the summer.

However, it remains to be seen if Howe’s club will reignite their interest in doing a deal for Ashby, especially given the form of England international Kieran Trippier although a club insider has told us that the Magpies remain keen.

Leeds are also said to hold an interest in signing Ashby and they could look to table a bid for the player in January.

He has struggled for minutes during his time at West Ham and has only made seven first-team appearances for the club, with just one of those coming in the Premier League.

At the age of 20, one has to think Ashby is expecting a little more first-team action.
