Portuguese newspaper The Record  claim Hammer Felipe Anderson is set to get a second chance at FC Porto.

Rival newspaper A Bola confirms the same story yesterday saying the West Ham player’s departure from Porto has been ‘definitely put aside’ in the winter transfer market because the two clubs have decided the loan agreement is ‘to be respected until the end’, which is until the end of this season.

Anderson has featured recently in the Primeira Liga side after several current teammates tested positive for Covid-19.

In addition Porto manager Sérgio Conceição wasn’t in favour of allowing the attacker to leave in January.

Earlier in the winter transfer window Anderson was linked with a return to West Ham to be loaned out again with Everton, Inter Milan, Fiorentina and a UAE club Al Ain. showing interest.

West Ham signed Anderson from Lazio for £34m in the summer of 2019. He scored 10 goals in all competitions as Manuel Pellegrini led the club to 10th place in the Premier League.
