Former Hammer Carlos Tevez is going home but not to West Ham but Argentina.

Tevez is on the verge of rejoining Boca Juniors according to the club’s president Daniel Angelici.

He told ESPN that Tevez ‘will sign the contract’ when the player is done with his international duties for Argentina at the Copa America next week.

Tevez started his professional career at Boca and played there for three seasons from 2001 before leaving for Corinthians in Brazil before his shock move to West Ham. He then played for other less important clubs in the guise of Manchester United  and Manchester City in the Premier League. He joined Juventus for £12m in 2013.

Tevez has often said he wants to finish his career with the team he supported as a boy despite saying he had unfinished business at West Ham.
