Hammers back on TV for fifth round of FA Cup

The Hammers will again be on live TV for their fifth round FA Cup ties at Southampton next month.

After the nerve shredding affair against Kidderminster where the Beeb though they had a mega shock on their hands, the Hammers will be looking for a calmer passage on March 2 – a Wednesday.

As revealed on KUMB, the Hammers beat Southampton on the way to the 1923 and 1975 FA Cup Finals, winning both ties after replays.

The two teams have already met twice in the Premier League this season, drawing 0-0 at St Mary’s last September before the Saints secured a surprise 3-2 win at the London Olympic Stadium on Boxing Day.

Ticket information will follow shortly although the Hammers can expect to receive un the region of 5,0000.
