Jack Wilshere’s much discussed “move” to West Ham remains on according to morning media reports.

It is widely known that the midfielder sees the London Stadium as his preferred destination and the Hammers could go in with a bid of around £7 million in the winter.

The Hammers were ready to take the player on loan to prove his fitness back in the summer but the Gunners were only ready to accept a permanent move.

But with the player out of contract in the summer we could expect to be in the running for a player who has now been named by England boss Gareth Southgate as having chances of entering his World Cup plans.

There is also interest from Crystal Palace but Wilshere has his heart set on a move to West Ham and even asked an agent to approach the club in the summer.

Despite his limited chances with the first team this season, Arsene Wenger has repeated his support for Wilshere recently, saying that this season is “vital” for the player.
