Hammers ‘conveyor belt of failures’

We all seem to have been here many times before- up ….down – getting as optimistic as we can before finding the words of the old song come back to haunt us as “fortune hides again!”

It doesn’t really make a lot of difference or help that other clubs such as Spurs and Wolves find themselves in the same place this season because it’s become the norm for West Ham.

And CandH follower Kevin reckons the club needs to do whatever it takes to stop what he describes as the conveyor belt of failure.

He writes: West Ham need to do whatever it takes to stop us being the biggest ping-pong ball in the League.

It’s crazy how form players come to West Ham & fail. It’s a continuous conveyor belt of failures . Pelligrini isn’t helping with his stubborn insistence on playing 3421 or something like that because it’s never really clear what he’s doing except that there is always only one up top.

Admittedly there are many teams across Europe that play that system. The difference is they have the right manager with the right squad.

If the board decide to stick with the Chilean then they must learn to accept the very real possibility of relegation and begin financial plans to survive it.

We all desperately hope it doesn’t come to that of course  but I can’t see next season being any different to this one if Pelligrini is still in the driving seat .
