West Ham could have the chance to sign a striker target on a free transfer if a new report is to be believed.
The Hammers have been linked with Torino striker Andrea Belotti for some time now.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 27-year-old Italian international is set to leave the Serie A outfit when his contract expires at the end of the season having made the decision not to sign an extension.
“Torino manager Ivan Juric confirms: “Belotti won’t sign the contract extension”.
“Andrea is not going to leave in January. He’ll decide his future in June”, Juric added.”
He has scored 91 goals in 199 appearances during his six years with the Serie A outfit since joining from Palermo and has managed one goal in three games so far this term.
There’s bound to be fierce competition for the player this summer but the Hammers fancy their chances of attracting him to the London Stadium as a genuine competition for Mickey Antonio’s position upfront.
