West Ham midfielder Connor Coventry will enter the new season uncertain as to whether he will be included in the Hammers first team squad.

The 22 year old midfielder was allowed out on loan last season- first at Peterborough United and later with MK Dons -where he enjoyed an excellent spell.

But with his contract ending next year he has a big decision to make on his West Ham future should he again be sent out on loan.

The player has spoken of his desire to remain at the club on a number of occasions but he may be  going down the same road as Josh Cullen who was sent out on loan on various occasions before being allowed to leave the club for Anderlecht.

Coventry is understood to have the usual option attached to his current deal but its only fifty/fufty as to whether the manager will include him in his first team plans for the forthoming season
