Winston Reid may be on his way to a permanent deal with loan club Sporting Kansas City according to a report from MLS soccer.

Winston has been performing well with the American outfit whom he joined at the start of the year with his Hammers days now seemingly behind him.
He has not appeared in our colours since 2018 but at MLS level he has become something of a star for Kansas who now want to offer him a permanent home.
Currently Reid is having just 30 per cent of his wages paid by the Americans so a deal which sees him off the books would help with the Irons financial problems  given his contract at the London Stadium us due to run until 2023.

The 32-year-old joined us from  FC Midtjylland in the summer of 2010 for around £5 million and has been a fine servants despite regular injuries.

Hopefully he will get the chance to close his career playing regularly and should the move take place then a very small fee of around £1,5-£2 million can be expected.
