The winger has been heavily linked with a move to Italy over recent days with the manager Luciano Spalletti admitting he is on his wish list.
He declared: “It is known that Feghouli is a player we would like.”
However, West Ham denied this morning that any formal move had been made and that at this stage there had not even been an inquiry about the player’s availability.
A Hammers source told ClaretandHugh this morning: “At this stage nothing has come our way. We are aware of the talk but this is all about agents getting involved.”
He added: “”There’s a lot of activity going on and people are working 24/7 on various things but nothing concrete on Feghouli to report at this stage.”
