The merit payment for finishing in 16th place is worth £9,592,590.
Last season West Ham received a merit payment of £21,103,698 for finishing 13th in the 2018/2019 season.
Clubs also earn facility fees for having games shown on UK TV worth £1,219,828
Last year 16 West Ham games were shown on British TV worth an extra £18,913,446 to the Hammers
This year West Ham had 15 games set for UK TV before the final 9 were shown on TV with 8 on Sky Sports, 5 on BT Sport and two on Amazon Prime. The later nine games after football resumed are unlikley to receive full facility fees so possibly £17,794,343 in TV fees for the 15 games.
West Ham’s total PL TV money for finishing 16th should reach £111,816,970 for this season.
Last season West Ham earned £122,528,663 so it’s a drop of £12,630,211
