West Ham youngsters have just five games to avoid relegation in Premier League 2 top flight division.

The Hammers U23’s are second from bottom with 16 points after 17 games this season. Only Swansea have done worst with 15 after 18 games.

Spurs U23’s are third from bottom on 19 points but West Ham have a game in hand on them and superior goal difference so one win would leapfrog our North London rivals and put them in the relegation zone.

The Hammers face bottom team Swansea on Monday 11th March followed by Arsenal on 29th March. In April they face Leicester City, Derby and top of the division Everton.

U23 player Dan Kemp told WHUFC.com “Swansea, the next game is massive; 100 per cent. Blackburn was a massive game too and we’ve missed out on big points, but the good thing is you get another game and while the league has been every two weeks until now, now we’ve got a chance to bounce back straight away.

“These last five games we have to win, every single game. Me and all the boys will be working as hard as we can to make sure we try and do that.”
