Maxwel Cornet will return to England Friday after receiving intensive treatment on his calf injury.
The  Ivorian has been absent since October with a calf injury, after providing five assists in his first nine West Ham appearances.

Due for a return

Cornet joined in the summer from Burnley for around £17.5m, but injuries have halted what looked to be a promising start to life in London.

David Moyes has sparked much speculation over the last few weeks by claiming that he had little idea where the player was although was aware at one point that he has been in France and elsewhere seeing various specialists.

Cornet suffered a  rare injury which has baffled many of thenm but now the club are hoping the issue has finally been solved as the management team look for him to make his Rush Green return.

We were told by a key contact: “Max will be returning from France after receiving  intensive treatment and we hope he will be fit enough to go into full training. It’s a very rare injury so unfortunately there are no precise timings.
