West Ham has been linked with a summer move for Burnley’s goalkeeper Nick Pope with a move away from Turf Moor.

Bookmakers have priced up the likes of Spurs as favourites at (9/2) with Liverpool and West Ham joint second-favourites with odds at (6/1) odds of luring away the 24-year-old ace.

Pope, who could be in line to become England’s number one for the upcoming rescheduled Euro 2020 tournament still has over two years left on his existing Clarets contract, and is unlikely to be sold on the cheap

Speculation in the media have suggested it would take a bid in the region of £50m to prise away the shot-stopping sensation which perhaps makes a Hammers move unlikely by David Moyes.

Last month, when asked by the Burnley Express whether there was any better goalkeeper in the country than Pope, Clarets boss Sean Dyche revealed: “I’m going to say not, because I’m his manager, and I have great value in him, his form and how he goes about it.

“He continues to improve in my opinion. I’m completely biased but he’s in very good form, that’s for sure.”
