Hammers look to move on keeper

West Ham are looking for offers for surplus to requirements keeper Darren Randolph this summer.

The 34 year old re-joined the club from Middlesbrough in 2020 after an injury to Lukasz Fabianski but has featured in only three Premier League games.

The stopper has another year to go on his contract and with Alphonse Areola looking set to possibly stay for another season has little chance of games at the club.

The Hammers would love to make space in their wage bill but the talk of Sam Johnstone joining from Middlesbrough is unlikely if Randolph has to be carried on the staff for another season.

The departure of the keeper along with Ryan Fredericks and Andriy Yarmolenko would see the club save over £150k a week in wages – just over £7 million a year.

Randolph is valued at around £1 million which gives the club a good opportunity of moving him on in the summer.
