Hammers look to stay on a Chelsea roll

West Ham go into Sunday’s game against Chelsea boosted by the knowledge that they have a very decent record against the League leaders.

Three wins, a draw and one defeat against the Blues over the last two seasons reads well as a team yet to be beaten comes to the east end.

Assuming – as seems likely that Marko Arnautovic is available – they will also be able to field an unchanged team for only the second game this season after a fine win at Goodison.

And with Felipe Anderson beginning to show some of the form that saw the club splash out £35 million on him there’s every chance that we can keep the visitors quiet.

They were involved in a tough Champions League match in Greece kast night whilst the Hammers of course have had a clear week ahead of the match.

I’m keeping the faith and will be looking for at least a point from a game which I actually feel is winnable given the team’s new found form and confidence as things finally start to gel.

Prediction: 1-1

Likely teams:

Irons: Fabianski, Masuaku, Diop, Balbuena, Zabaleta, Rice, Anderson, Obiang, Noble, Yarmolenko, Arnautovic

Chelsea: Arrizabalaga, Azpillicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Willian, Hazard, Giroud
