Hammers looking to make loan permanent

West Ham are in the process of converting Said Benrahma’s loan from Brentford into a permanent move according to Sky Sports Transfer Centre and others

West Ham have an obligation to buy for £21.75m paid in installments on top of the existing £4.25m loan fee.

Benrahma joined West Ham in October on loan with an agreement to make it permanent once issues that showed up in his medical were resolved.  Should Benrahma’s deal be made permanent it will free up a domestic loan space in their squad.

Premier League clubs are allowed four domestic loans over the course of a season, but only two are permitted to be in the squad at any one time. Currently, West Ham have two domestic loans in the form Watford’s Craig Dawson and Brentford’s Said Benrahma.

The Hammers have made a loan enquiry for Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard with the Red Devils wanting a significant loan fee.
