Hammers may face surprise rival for Onyekuru

The Hammers may face a surprise rival for the signature of Nigeria striker Henry Onyekuru.

Until now ourselves and Arsenal have been the only two clubs seemingly interested in the KAS Eupen forward.

But it is now being reported that former Irons boss Harry Redknapp is a big admirer of the player and could be ready to enter the race.

And although it seems unlikely that a Championship club would have a chance of getting the 20 yar old that is not a given after the youngster said he was ready to play for a “smaller club” as he wants regular first-team football.

The Hammers are interested in the player along with Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore.
