in reality the Swiss international didn’t show a great deal during the Carabao Cup in his first outing for the club at Newport county on Tuesday evening.

However, Gabbidon who knows a thing or two about defending, and was acting as a TV pundit, believes that he showed enough to suggest he might become a bargain for the £8million we signed him for.

The 22 year old appears to be a poacher in the Chicharito style which may allow the club to pave the way out for the Mexican in January.

ClaretandHugh revealed Chivas his first club are finding a way to raise the cash to bring Chicharito home and Ajeti could be looking to get game time in order to become his natural successor.

Gabbidon, speaking on Sky Sports, declared “ I think the transfer has gone under the radar with Sebastien Haller coming in for big money, but he certainly looks a different type of striker to Haller.

He’s more Javier Hernandez-like, a box type of player, likes to get in behind, can shoot with either foot, very composed when he gets in those positions, so I think he’ll be a very good addition.”

Ajeti is unlikely is unlikely to be used for the Norwich match as Chicharito is now fit the manager explained he is back to a stable place to play, Seb Haller is bound to start up front and it is unlikely there will be any room, to acommadate the new signing
